• 8oz Chick Peas
  • 1 medium onion
  • handful chopped pork and beef scraps
  • 1 beef stock cube
  • 1.5 pints water
  • olive oil
  • 1 tsp mixed herbs

Soak chick peas overnight. Heat oil in deep pan (a wok is ideal). Add onion and fry until transparent. Add meat and fry for two minutes. Add the rest of the ingredients and bring to the boil. Simmer for 45 minutes or until stock is reduced to a quarter.
