chesil beach curry

I tin butter beans
1 tin mixed beans
1 tin potatos
1 tin whole small mushrooms
1 small tin chopped tomato
Tomato paste if you have some
Lemon/lime juice or both
2 dessert spoons sugar
Salt and black pepper
2 chopped chillies with seeds if you like it hot (chillies are optional)
Small onion
Table spoon Chopped ginger
Japanese soy sauce light and dark about teaspoon full each
Garam Massala paste 3/4 teaspoons to taste

chop onion and ginger (chillies if you like it hot) then fry in a little olive/veggy oil cook until soft and starting to brown, add garam massalla and sugar, salt, plenty black pepper.

Drain all tins, Tip in butter beans, potatos, mixed beans, mushrooms, stir while heating, add water to give a good sauce, add chopped tomato and tomato paste. Keep the whole thing simmering for 20 to 30 mins.

Serve with rice and nan bread.

Cheap, cheerful and suprisingly tasty - Oh, and it looks like Chesil Beach :-)
