50g soft margarine or butter
250g soft brown sugar
2 (30ml) tablespoons golden syrup
preheat the oven to 180° centigrade (Note a hotter oven will make more crunchy flapjack) and grease a 10" * 7" aprox tin.
melt the margarine, butter and syrup together in a saucepan, Stir in the oats, and spoon the mixture into the tin and level
bake in the oven for about 20 mins
mark into 12 portions and leave to cool - when cold cut out the individual flapjacks.
