garam masala
rating:1 tablespoon cardamom seeds
2" (5cm) stick of cinnamon
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1 teaspoon whole cloves
1 teaspoon black peppercorns
¼ nutmeg
Place all ingredients in a clean coffee-grinder and whiz for 30-40 seconds or until spices are finely ground. Keep in small jar with tight fitting lid, away from heat and light.
