The amounts of ingredients i have posted can very according to palate - play around with the recipe and make it your own.
1 can of garbanzo beans
1 lemon more or less acording to taste
1 clove of garlic more or less acording to taste
Extra virgin olive oil
2 teaspoons of Tahinni
2 pinches of salt more or less acording to taste
Dash of paprika
Rinse out the garbanzo beans
Chop your garlic in a food processor (I recommend you do not use a blender, I have killed more then one making hummus)
Add all other ingredients to the food processor
This is the tricky part - slowly pour in the olive oil. Now the more you add the creamier the hummus will be. But you do not want to add too much or the olive oil will overpower the flavor.
Stop the food processor and taste.
If anything seems to be missing add a pinch or two. Keep this up until the hummus is creamy
When done spread in bowl or plate add olive oil on top and sprinkle paprika on oil for garnish. You can also trow some garbanzo beans on top for garnish as well.
