crunchie bar sponge cake

6oz butter
3oz caster sugar
3oz soft brown sugar
3 eggs
vanilla essence
6oz self raising flour
2tsp baking powder
3 crunchie bars

Gas 4/180

  • cream butter and sugar until creamy
  • add eggs and mix with a blender
  • add vanilla (amount is up to your own taste)
  • fold in sifted flour (and baking powder)
  • crush crunchie bars and add to mix
  • pour mixture into two 8" sandwich tins
  • cook for 20-30 mins
