boiled rice - henrik kiertzner's infallible method
rating:(lots of good reports of this)
my patent "never goes wrong" method is as follows:
use a saucepan with a well-fitting lid.
melt some butter, don't burn it, add 2 cups of rice, warm it through and cover with butter. Add lots of salt.
add three cups of water, bring to the boil, then cover and reduce the heat to the lowest level possible. Leave for 13 minutes.
switch off the heat, leave for a further 13 minutes. Uncover and scoop the rice into a serving dish. Bosh.
I come back to this again and again because it really is infallible.
