Thanks to Sasha for this one.
Delicious, and incredibly easy to make. All you do is flop a tin of chick peas into a blender, reserving some of the liquid from the tin. Add one crushed clove of garlic,
some lemon juice to taste and a couple of tablespoonsful of tahini (this is a 'butter', like peanut butter, but made of sesame seeds).
Whiz all these ingredients together. If the mixture seems too stiff, add some of the reserved water from the tin of chick peas and whiz again.
Taste and add lemon juice, salt and pepper if you feel the hummus needs it.
Serve it with bread or toast or toasted pitta bread or Lebanese Lavash bread - the possibilities are endless :-)
